![]() He returns to school that day, and when he tries to join a conversation between two students, they run away from him thinking he was a ghost. Meanwhile, in the Human World, Yusuke is awakened by his mother. The episode starts with three criminals stealing three artifacts from Spirit World. Koenma additionally gives Yusuke a mission: he must recover three artifacts stolen by master thieves of the Spirit World. This is just my perception of this from a spiritual aspect, but it can definitely be seen within the anime and it’s easier to relate to in our own lives when it’s explained this way.Koenma reveals that Yusuke is a Spirit Detective, and must use his unique abilities to battle demons and other threats to the Living World. Their essence of life is given to us when they depart in order to keep us strong and moving forward without them. This is similar to the orb that Genkai left for Yusuke or some of the life force that Kuwabara gave to Yusuke to keep him alive after defeating the saint beasts. Every memory and experience that we had with them is a piece of their essence and power that they’ve left behind to us. When someone that we care about dies, there’s a transfer of power and energy that takes place. Yes, it may hurt during our period of mourning, but once that period is over we must channel that power. The death of loved ones and those we care about is unavoidable. ![]() Now this third lesson became extremely evident as the series went on and this definitely applies to a lot of us in our lives.ĭuring the series, Genkai is killed and during Yusuke’s fight with Toguro, he seemed to have killed Kuwabara as well.īy using the power of loss, Yusuke reaches unfathomable levels of power thus unlocking his potential. With that being said, we must take pride in our craftand constantly work to be the best we can be, no matter what our specialty is.Īnime Inspiration – Utilize The Power Of Loss To Unlock Your Potential The need to get strongeris a constant theme throughout the anime and this even applies to us in our daily lives.Įveryday there is a constant need for improvement and to get better because no matter how great we are, there is always someone better. In this instance, the crew understands that they need to get stronger. Little did they know, this was just a ploy. Now the Toguro Arc was very interesting as it was probably the most famous arc and its there that I feel that I learned the most.Įarly on in this arc, Yusuke and Kuwabara take out the deadly triad and even seem to defeat Toguro in order to save Yukina. I’d rather live 100 years in good health, being able to train and do the things I love rather than dying early or living those same 100 years in pain and paying tremendous medical expenses just to keep myself alive.Īnime Inspiration – No Matter How Much You Train, There’s Always Someone Better It sucks, but at the end of the day, I have to feel my best. As of late, I’ve been a huge advocate of the phrase “Health is Wealth.”Īfter my past digestive issues, I went through a long internal war of being in constant pain and it was because of the medicines that I took for illness and the foods that I would consume.ĭue to that experience, I have learned to really be careful and go the extra mile to spend whatever is necessary on various foods to keep my body in peak condition. With appreciating your life, you must take care of yourself. ![]() For most of us, we have only one life and we must do our best to protect it and to appreciate it. The key here is that not all of us get second chances. Luckily, he was given a second chance at life and he definitely made it worth while. With that being said, here are some of the key lessons that I learned watching Yusuke and the crew.Īnime Inspiration – Always Appreciate Your LifeĪt the beginning of the series, we see Yusuke lose his life saving a young kid playing in the street. So I recently started re-watching the series for the 14 th time and it finally dawned on me to create a lessons learned. What’s up everyone?! So for me, YuYu Hakusho remains in my top 3 anime of all-time and very often is my number one anime about 99.9% of the time, but it can change from time to time depending on my mood.
